About the event
Please join us to gather on the Lammas Full Moon to align with the season of harvesting. The first 30 minutes of this gathering will be in meditation with the regular morning sitting group. All are welcome.
Note about schedule: We might need to switch the time of this event to the evening. We'll be sending out an email to participants and our listserv if that happens
Lammas, or Lughnasadh (LOO-nuh-suh) falls on August 1st, directly across the wheel from Imbolc which we celebrate in February. Halfway between summer solstice and fall equinox, we feel the days growing shorter while the high summer warmth is just peaking. This cross-quarter festival marks the beginning of harvest season. We will gather in the morning this season, during the full moon, and collectively harvest what is ripened over the past seasons.
The ritual is offered completely on gift and no one is turned…
